Where will Le Fruit Triathlon 2019 take place?

Le Fruit Triathlon 2019 will take place once again in Four Season beach,Ba Ria province. This time, the hotel venue will be The Ho Coc Beach Resort. Check the exact location by clicking here. Easily accessible by car or bus, Vung Tau’s pristine, untouched beachfront sits just two hours from Ho Chi Minh City. The area is also home to an 11,000-hectare rain forest that was designated as a nature reserve in 1975

How to get there ?

Ho Tram is located about 120 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City. If you are flying from outside Vietnam or Ho Chi Minh City, the best way is to get to Ho Chi Minh first and then take one of the options below: Motorbikes & Cars, Buses, Speedboat.

How can I get my bike to the event site ?

There will be off road for biking course, therefore only mountain bikes are allowed.

If you don’t have any MTB, Le Fruit Triathlon will have it available for rent at the event site. Bike rental must be booked before event day by clicking here

If you already have your own bikes and want to take it with you from Saigon to Vung Tau, you can ask bus companies to send it with you (you might need to pay for another ticket for the bikes).

Can I race in teams?

Yes, Le Fruit Triathlon this year will have relay category which is for teams. A relay team can take up to 3 people maximum and 2 people minimum. There is no need for all participants in one team to be able to swim, one person in the team can be in charge for swim course and the other do the bike and run for example.   

Will there be medals for finishers ?

Yes, there will be medals for all finishers and trophies for the winners.

What clothes should i wear for the race?

There will be a Le Fruit Triathlon t-shirt included in our race kit that you can wear, for pants you can choose which suits you the most. We would recommend you to take one that is comfortable but tight and light enough.

Where should i stay in Ho Tram ?

The event takes place in The Grand Ho Tram Strip Resort, you can book through their website

Can a family member and/or friend cross the finish line with athletes?

Yes, this is the most friendliest triathlon race in Vietnam so we allow athletes to share this moment.

Can i refund or transfer my registration to someone else?

We won’t offer refunds, transfers, or deferrals of any kind. Participants should review and explore our Registration Refund/Cancellation Policy offered within the Le Fruit Triathlon 2019 online registration.

What are the courses cut off times?

Sprinter: Each wave will have 4:00 hours to complete the race

Duathlon: Each wave will have 3:30 hours to complete the race

Rookie: Each wave will have 1:30 hours to complete the race

Aerokid: Each wave will have 1 hour to complete the race

The cut off time depends on the distance that each race has. Cut off time is counted from the start time of each course.

Where can i get my result ?

Your result will be updated on our website after the race.

Can the kids wear buoy/life vest?

Participants of Aero-Kids and Rookie can wear life vest/swim float. Please notice the organizer in advance so we can arrange the best options for this case during the race.

Can family members and/or friends check-in for me and pick-up my race kit?

No, registered participants must pick up their own race kit and do check-in themselves. If this is not possible by anyway, the person who picks up the kit should bring along a photocopy of the documentation id of the registrant plus its confirmation email.

Will there be a parking lot to park my bike?

Yes, athletes will have to leave their bikes before the race on the transition area.

Is there shuttle bus for participants to Ho Tram?

Yes, Ho Coc beach resort offers free bus for guests. Moreover, they also offer two-way transportation service from District 1 – Ho Chi Minh City to The Resort by 16-seat Ford Transit at the price of 400.000 VND / two-way / seat.

How can I measure helmet size if I rent a bike?

Helmet size will be based on head size
51-55cm: size S
55-59cm: size M
59-63cm: size L
